Export project, just started and now already the most time consuming course in the three semester I am enrolled at the "Hogeschool voor Economische Studies".
In 11 weeks we have to write four marketing reports and three law reports and one law presentation, none interconnected with each other.

The first report was about the Costa Rican Eco-Tourism sector, writing from a hotel's perspective we have written a marketing plan to ensure growth for the hotel in the future. The report, which can be found as an attachment, was graded an 8.0 out of 10.

Next there was the law report about multinational enterprises, researching which different legal entities there are available all around the world for corporations to choose from. The report, which is also available for public as an attachment, was graded a 7+ out of 10.

The third report we had to publish was concerning the introduction of an electric version of the Solex, the moped which was immensely popular in Europe from the 50's until the late 80'. The report is basically a marketing plan how we think that the new e-Solex should be positioned in the current Dutch market. The report was graded an 8.0 out of 10.

For the law part, we finished the second report about Intellectual Property and by which means you can protect it. The report is available as an attachment, and it was graded a 7.0 out of 10.

After the second law report we had to present the case of Asanti Technology Inc. versus PMC Sierra Inc., the presentation can be found in PDF format as an attachment, the presentation was graded an 8+ out of 10.

The third report for marketing was about a Venezuelan chocolatier called "Chocolates El Rey", expanding the current operations from only USA, Venezuela, and a small part of Europe to the majority of Europe. The outstanding report, if I may say so myself, can be found as attachment. Slightly dissapointed we received a 6.0 out of 10 for the report.

The final report for law was about contractual obligations, with too much time spend on the Chocolate El Rey case of the marketing part we had little time left to write this report. We therefore were very pleased when we received the grade, 7 out of 10, The report can be found as an attachment.

The last report for this course was on American Express, nothing was at stake anymore since we needed an 8.0 for an 8 average for the whole course or a 3.6 for a 7 average. Although we as a group believed we could make the efforts to achieve this, the teacher that is to grade the report is very strict. So we did our best, the report was graded a 6.5 out of 10, it can be found as an attachment.
