This course aims to guide students through the problem areas of finance. The goal of Financial Management is to add value to the owners, which in most cases is to maximize the value of stocks. This is known as the shareholder value. If a firm needs new long- term financing for projects with a positive net present value a high stock price will enable the firm to issue new securities. The course strives to help students to make sound judgements in the process of decision-making. |
