Extra Curricular

Founder/President - HES Investment Club

With the support of my university, I founded this club to form a group of students interested in investing, like me, to discuss current trends, strategies, and other issues within the group.

Responsibilities:

  • Controlling the self-build Online Trading Competition.
  • Organizing and chairing meetings.
  • Liaise between the University and the Club.
  • Arrange fieldtrips and guest speakers.

Responsible for a selection of ongoing projects, including pricing model development, updating a financial database, storage usage reporting. Furthermore I assist the Managed Services team on an ad-hoc basis where most requests for my assistance are to perform analysis on financial data or IT related analyses.

Due to an increase in criminal behaviour (e.g. money laundering, fiscal fraud and terrorism funding) there is an increase in usage of the financial system. The department "Client Acceptance & Anti-Money Laundering" is active in preventing this. As analyst, I was responsible for analyzing incoming and outgoing payments of corporations and individuals. Each client has an own pattern of payments, when the client's behaviour deviates from this pattern it was my responsibility to analyze the reason of the deviation and determine whether it was a legit transaction.

Maintaining the Vodafone Netherlands webshop by adding new products, updating pages, creating new pages (mainly in HTML). Other tasks included writing descriptions and editing images in Photoshop.

  • Analyzing the payment behavior of individuals on open invoices from received health care.
